In the morning of day 1 you have the option to do a guided tour in Mhamid and visit the 7 Kasbahs or just relax and enjoy the swimming pool at the Hotel Kasbah Sahara Services before heading off around 04.00pm to the Desert of Erg Chegaga.

Mhamid – Erg Chegaga
We will meet at 09.00am at Hotel Kasbah Sahara Services in Mhamid. Your desert journey starts at 10.00am on the back of our camels. We will ride directly into the real and immense desert, crossing the beautiful sand dunes for around 3 hours. On a shady spot we will take a light lunch before we will change from the camel to our modern 4×4 jeep and enjoy new variations of the Sahara Desert.
You will visit a nomad family with their children and will share a cup of tea in their tent. We reach the immense sand dunes of Erg Chegaga just in time before sunset. The kids have the opportunity to try the sand boarding from the dunes just behind the camp. Enjoy the amazing sunset and get ready for an unforgettable night in the desert under the stars. Erg Chegaga – Mhamid
Enjoy a picturesque sunrise upon the sand dunes and a refreshing breakfast at the tent restaurant. Afterwards we make our way back by 4×4 to the village of Mhamid, the “Desert Gate of Morocco». Arrival at the Hotel Kasbah Sahara Services will be around 10.00am. Continue your journey or extend your stay for another night at our cosy Hotel and enjoy the refreshing swimming pool.

Essaouira is a small fortified city on the edge of the Atlantic. Located 180 kilometers west of Marrakech, the city is a less touristy place where people are generally friendlier and where you put less pressure for you to buy. On arrival you will explore the small city starting from the port, the Portuguese fortress, the old medina, the museum arts, the sekkala and the old kewish quarter.
