- An exciting experience…
Moroccan culture can be an exciting and worldly experience. The cuisine of Morocco has been influenced by the native Berber cuisine and the Arabic Andalusian cuisine. This is why it is so rich. The cooking course is not only an excellent opportunity to learn how to cook some Moroccan dishes, but also is a way of getting an insight into how people live. Lalla Nezha will pick you up in the city center where you will go to the local souks to buy all the necessary ingredients. It’s a great way to start with. It is then a short ten minutes ride to Nezha’s house just outside the town. The cooking class is literally held in the central courtyard surrounded by a garden which provides most of the ingredients for the meal. She will give you instructions and teach you how to prepare a full Moroccan meal with two different Moroccan Salads, a Chicken & Lemon Tajine as well as Couscous and Dessert. And of course Lalla Nezha will also lead you on how to prepare the traditional Moroccan Mint Tea. Everyone is preparing his/her own dishes. At the end of the cooking class you will be dropped off in the city center of Marrakech.
