Summer time Option:
In the morning of day 1 you have the option to do a guided tour in M’hamid and visit the 7 Kasbahs or just relax and enjoy the swimming pool at the Hotel Kasbah Sahara Services before heading off around 04.00pm to the Desert of Erg Chegaga.

Day 1
M’hamid – Erg Lihoudi
Meeting point 09.00am at Hotel Kasbah Sahara Services in M’hamid. Your desert journey starts at 10.00am with a camel ride from M’hamid village. You will trek past beautiful parts of the desert with small sand dunes (Erg), Tamarisk trees and stone desert landscapes (Hammada) in the closer periphery of Mhamid.
After around 3 hours we will stop for lunch followed by a cup of Moroccan tea under a large, shady Tamarisk tree. After relaxation we will continue deeper in to the beautiful and calm desert and reach our camp after around 02 hours on the back of your camel. Overnight including half board and local music entertainment at the Sahara Services Standard Camp, Erg Lihoudi.

Day 2
Erg Lihoudi – M’hamid.
Enjoy a picturesque sunrise upon the sand dunes and a refreshing breakfast at the tent restaurant. Afterwards we make our way back to the village of M’hamid, the “Desert Gate of Morocco”. Arrival at the Hotel Kasbah Sahara Services will be around 10.00 am. Continue your journey or extend your stay for another night at our cosy Hotel and enjoy the refreshing swimming pool.
