Tour 1 A – Sunset tour

Departure:              16:00 h from Mhamid

Arrival:                   10:00 h next morning

On the back of the camel we will ride over a beautiful part of the desert with small sand dunes (Erg), with Tamarisk trees and over stone desert (Hammada) in the closer periphery of Mhamid. Depending upon season we can meet Nomades. At sunset we will arrive at a bivouac with tents, there dinner and night in the tent. Next morning after breakfast return to Mhamid.

Included in the price: 1 camel per person, overnight accommodation in the tent, dinner, breakfast.

This tour is perfect for the summer month, when it is much too hot for a tour during the day.

Tour 1 B – Sahara on camel's back

Departure:              8:00 h from Mhamid

Arrival:                   10:00 h next morning

Distance:                 app. 28 km

Cost per person:    55,- EUR

This tour will go through the "Door to the desert" into the real desert. You will ride over a beautiful part of the desert with small sand dunes (Erg), with Tamarisk trees and over stone desert (Hammada) in the closer periphery of Mhamid. Depending upon season we can meet Nomades. After a 3 hour ride we will have a break with Moroccan Tea, the lunch will be under a large Tamarisk tree, and in the evening bivouac at the Jew's dunes near Mhamid, wonderful sand dune of 80 m altitude. Dinner with music.

Next morning after breakfast return to Mhamid.
